Financial Support
Gillingham School is committed to supporting students whose families are experiencing financial hardship. Pupil premium, scholarships and bursaries are all forms of financial support aimed at helping students access education.
Lower School
Scholarships and bursaries provide essential financial support to help families manage the costs of education. These awards are typically granted based on academic merit, specific talents, or financial need, and may contribute towards tuition fees, school supplies, extracurricular activities, or uniform costs. By reducing financial pressure, they ensure that every pupil, regardless of background, can access enriching opportunities and thrive within a supportive learning environment.
Student Scholarships & Bursaries
We also offer financial support for students continuing their studies beyond GCSE, whether they progress into Sixth Form or move on to university, college, or other higher education pathways. These funds can help with a range of expenses, including tuition fees, accommodation, transport, maintenance, books, and specialist equipment.
Many of these awards have been made possible through the generosity of former staff, students, and friends of the school. Their contributions create a lasting legacy that supports future generations in pursuing ambitious academic and career pathways, including fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing.
